Inspired by the archipelagic nature of the Philippines and the several small island compositions of the Visayas, KaLambuaN seeks to prioritize the futures of the small island systems. These islands tend to have greater challenges especially in resources. Hence, the main agenda of KaLambuaN is named as Philippine Small Island Sustainable Systems to Ambition 2050 (PiSISSA 2050).

Research and innovation on the above-mentioned areas will be sought.
