To the esteemed members and partner institutions of KaLambuaN!
As the Philippine higher education institutions are increasingly becoming aware about the futures thinking framework, formally organizing the regional consortium is a big step toward its advocacy. I am proud to congratulate the KaLambuaN consortium members and officials, composed of the Central Visayas SUCs.
I am hopeful to see the KaLambuaN consortium flourish and organize impactful activities that will contribute to regional and national development, while being cognizant of its sustainability and the futures of our nation. Everyone will certainly have a great role to play.
With limited resources, the SUCs and HEIs must work together to be synergistic with their outcome. This will most likely bring the most impact to the stakeholders. The KaLambuaN has the potential to act as a link between the business world and the wider community. The higher education sector can play a crucial role in meeting the country’s future difficulties by investigating the viability of its undertakings in teaching, research, extension, and production.
I am excited to see how the many SUCs within the consortium, along with a number of other government agencies and stakeholders, will work together to secure the future of the country.
